Frugal Film Challenge

A few years ago, before the pandemic, we had started a short film challenge under the name of the Frugal Film Festival. What made it stand out from other short film challenges is that we supplied the script.

On the start date, each team was sent the starter pack along with the specialized script designed to be filmed anywhere by anyone. It turned out to be great fun to see so many different teams from different parts of the world adapting and working with this same material.

That said all, we're back!

That's right, now that a lot of things have come back to relative normal we are getting things going again with the challenge! It's had a bit of a rebrand and we've moved it away from Facebook and onto X as the main platform for communication and showcasing the films.
